March 31, 2001: Attended and assisted by operating a video camera, a memorial service for Dan Kardokus, held at the Metropolitan Community Church, Denver, Colorado. Dan’s parents, both ordained protestant ministers, entered the sanctuary somewhat nervously, but were reassured by Sister Who playing “Sweet Hour of Prayer” on the piano.
April 28, 2001: Facilitated a viewing and discussion of the Walt Disney movie, “Mary Poppins,” at Pieta House, a residence for persons with AIDS, Denver, Colorado.
